Haven't posted much here for a while.
But here are my potato plants. Finally, growing. More of them are coming out of the top than the sides. I'll have to watch that next time. And my 18 eggs from my chickens. Hope you guys have seen how they're making fake eggs. Soon to come to your grocery shelf, please be sure you're buying farm, fresh eggs and all other food!

Well it was bound to happen sometime... we've had a snake before, and just got rid of a mouse, but this is our first "critter in the coop". Working on reinforcements...

Looks like he probably ate some eggs, chicken food, got water, and curled up to sleep in a nesting box by the electric heater....

For those following the saga of the seeds that blew off last summer while I was drying them.... my porch garden yield:

- 1 ripe pumpkin not shown
- 18 pumpkins
- 7 butternut squash
- 3 butternut left out to see what they do

I don't know if I should be ecstatic or disappointed, but here is our first elderberry batch mascerating to turn into jam tomorrow. Hard to get many when you have only one bush.... more than last year though!
