Sometimes owning your own business means you are still working on gifts at the almost last hour. Merry Christmas everyone

We are so excited to be headed to the Covered Bridge Festival in Parke County. Several trips have already been made with the campers, main supply trailer and the tent set-up crew is headed out early in the morning to make it happen.
Prayers for great weather and an awesome festival of seeing our many friends and customers who stop by the booth.
Stop by and see us in the same place as always in Bridgeton right on Bridgeton Road near the green house(between Allen and George Streets).
Country Crafts from the Farm updated their business hours.
Covered Bridge is coming soon
The Parke County Covered Bridge has officially been cancelled for 2020. We know this was a hard decision for the committee that had to make the final call, but this announcement didn't come as a shock to us.
2021 Covered Bridge will be better than ever; we cant wait to see all of you in Bridgeton!!
Until then, we are still busy crafting. Need a gift for someone else, a Children's Teepee or that perfect craft piece for yourself... let us know as we are still open for business!! Oh the beauty of Family Owned Small Business!!!
The 2020 Covered Bridge Festival has been cancelled. A vote was cast to cancel the festival at The Parke County Commissioners Meeting this evening.
We know many look forward to our 10 day fall festival, but we still encourage you to come enjoy Parke Countyβs beautiful fall foliage and covered bridges. Take a slow paced day or two to enjoy our state parks, unique restaurants, and visit our year-round small businesses for shopping, antiques and more. Thank you for your continued support of !

We would like to take this time to say "Thank You" to those of you that helped with the success of Country Crafts in 2019, rather it was helping to sew, paint, cut, order awards, purchase our hand crafted items or even moral support. We truly appreciate each and everyone of you. Thank you and we look forward to working with you in 2020. Happy New Year.
One of 7 special ordered pillows I made this year. 3 with Love, Dad and 4 with Love, Grandpa.
Unto us a Child was born!

Final craft show of the year, if you are around Kosciusko County.... stop by Wawasee Middle School to see us till 3pm today!!
Back in the later part of August, I added a picture of my embroidery screen and was working on a piece that was bringing tears to my eyes while working on it. Today I am posting a picture of the quilt that was made by Tammy Wise, in memory of the Whitley Co. K9 officer Cas, that was killed in the line of duty. I was honored to be able to embroidery the poem in the center of the quilt.
Mr. snowman headed to an open house. His big smile shows how happy he is about the snow last night and the really cold temperatures today
Every year at the festival, we watch for this gentleman and his dog. We found out that he and his dog are all alone and live in Terra Haute, so he brings his dog to the festival to visit with people and his dog gets lots of love. He did not show up until the next to the last day this year and we wondered if something had happened to him....
The first day of the festival. Pouring rain, but they still came.
Covered Bridge festival set up.
Sometimes return travels from Covered Bridge Festival don't go the way we plan!!
Current situation... One unit sitting in rest area with a flat tire on the trailer while the owners of the operation are enroute to save the night!!
We will laugh about this one day!!

Yes, I have been MIA for several months. Working on commissioned awards and little time for anything else. I will try to do better. Today it is with sadness in my heart and tears in my eyes that I try to work on this commissioned piece. When I can show all of this piece, I will show the rest.
And the winner with one of our banners is...
More winners of banners made by us.
More winners with awards made by County Crafts. Congratulations Winners
Keep watching this page for more pictures of winners at county fairs showing off our quality handmade awards.
Congratulations to all the winners
We have been MIA lately, but with good cause. I will post just a few pictures of some of the award items we have been busy working on for the last several months. Something close to 300 banners, 50 embroidered blankets, 30 embroidered bags, lost count on how many silk screen shirts, and many other award items. If you need livestock show awards, please feel free to contact us. We will be doing some new designs of items this winter. Some Photo credits go to Val Slack, Jody Titus and Mike Petersen.
