⏰RESERVATIONS ENCOURAGED. We could walk in around 4 p.m. on a Saturday and sit at the bar (ground level). When we left, there was a line outside for dinner.

🔥 18 hr Short Rb: effortlessly smoky, perfectly seasoned and crispy
🔥 3 hr Chicken Wings: juicy and packed with flavor (but Brandon preferred a more crispier skin texture)
🔥 Tonkotsu Ramen w Pork Belly Chashu: pork belly almost equivalent to a slow roast. Delicious, smoky broth.

🏨 Escape the hustle and bustle of Lisbon and enjoy the quiet oasis of the seaside town of Sesimbra

HOTEL INFO
🛏️ Deluxe Guest Room, Queen is spacious with an expansive desk to set up WFH setup plus comfy chairs. There is a small outdoor patio and a free minibar stocked with water, orange juice, sparkling, and soda 🥤
📍20 min walk down to the beach, but prepare to climb the sloping hill back up
🥾 A free shuttle can take you to the castle or Praia de Ouro (Ouro Beach)
🌮 Delicious buffet breakfast included. Go before 10 am to avoid the crowds
🚗 Rideshare or renting a car is encouraged. Otherwise, it'll take 1.5 hours on public transport from Lisbon

SUGGESTED ACTIVITIES
🏰 Hike up to Castello de Sesimbra (Sesimbra Castle) for epic views
💦 Take a boat ride to pristine hard-to-access beaches, or go scuba diving
🐟 Eat fresh fish! Sesimbra is a fishing town

⚠️This is a bumpy activity and can be dangerous if you aren't a good driver (make sure travel insurance covers it). The expert guides gave clear and easy instructions and made you feel safe.c

🤩It's fantastic for thrills and gorgeous mountain, valley, and waterfall views! This tour is like the Kualoa Ranch (touristy) on Oahu but on steroids 💪 If you found Kualoa boring, then this is the perfect activity.

💡Tips: Wear clothes and closed-toe shoes if ok with getting dirty. It's an extensive tour, so I recommend bringing protein bars for when you get hungry. They provide a granola snack.

🛻 If you don't like getting muddy, request the Kawasaki Platinum Mule Pro-FXT as it is higher off the ground to reduce splatter. We purposely drove into the mud for the fun of it. Ponchos are for sale on-site if needed.

❗Don't forget: water, driver's license (if driving), cleaning wipes (no shower), extra change of clothes

HOTEL INFO
🛏️ Standard King room is spacious. Standing shower. The balcony has two chairs - not reclining. The floors are cold and can get wet - bring slippers 👡 The property is small and more for relaxing/sunbathing with a book 😴

AMENITIES
💆Spa, gym, kids club, on-site car and scooter rentals (Fiesta rentals)
♨️ No public whirlpools, so upgrade to a room with one

FOOD
🌮 Did not try food onsite. Playa Azul next door has decent food and drinks for cheaper (get the Baja fish tacos 🐟)
🍹Westin has a $96 pp per night all-inclusive option, but few restaurants to make it worth it. Drinks are better in the sky lounge

ACTIVITIES
🤿 Clear turquoise waters plus snorkel or kayak for free for one hour per day
🚤 30-min Jet ski/wave runner is $65. Can go out for morning and afternoon scuba dives (pick-up on the pier)
