Our Dexter herd is growing and we have two extra steers for sale this year. Grass fed Dexter beef is some of the most nutritious and best tasting beef there is! The steer we processed for ourselves this spring was dressed out at 483 #, these two should be very similar in size. $4.25 a lb and you pay the processing (approx $450 for a whole beef). Available as whole, half or 1/4. Send me a message for more details.

2025 honey is finally bottled and ready! Our wetter than average summer made for honey that was not low enough moisture content to bottle, until now. One and two pound jars available, $12 per lb. Also if you have one of our jars from last year or another similar queenline jar we will happily sterilize and give it a new lid and give you a $1 credit.

I took a walk through the garden this evening and found lots of bugs, some good, some bad and some ugly😬. We are still figuring out how to deal with pests in ways that don’t harm the bees. It’s not always easy or straight forward but beneficial insects like praying mantis, ladybugs and green lacewings are part of the strategy.
