T&K Homestead has recently undergone several significant modifications over the weekend. Due to my ongoing health concerns, we have made the challenging decision to rehome our horses. On a brighter note, however, we have recently acquired a new silkie coop and run, a project still in progress that is already being ejoyed and loved by our silkies. We are adding a grow out area still in the works for all the babie we plan to hatch! So be on the look out coming next year we will have babies for sale!!!

We are thrilled to share that we have four babies, with a fifth on the way. Despite our incubator malfunctioning mid-day, we were able to secure a replacement overnight, and the eggs are now successfully hatching. Please follow for ongoing updates.

So sadly our free range chickens no longer get to roam free due to a dog in the area that keeps killing our birds!! So now they have a run we finished for them last night!! Hopefully we can get this dog problem handled so they can free range agin soon!! We are down 5 birds since starting in with chickens alittle over a year ago I would say we have had pretty good odds compared to others around us tho!
