Hi friends! I know I often neglect this page, as it doesn’t get as much interaction as Con Amor does, so here’s an update in case you missed it— my husband is currently holding the fort down at the bakery while I’m in Mexico for another masterclass. Laminated doughs is a never ending journey, there’s always something new to learn and improve. Here’s a little glimpse of Day 1, there’s so many new flavors I hope to share with you all 🤍 more than what’s pictured here! Meanwhile, I ask if you can please give us a visit while I’m away. My husband and our small team are putting in all the work and it would mean so much to me if you could show them some love! 🥐✨ see you soon, sending love from Mexico City!🇲🇽

5 MORE DAYSSSSS UNTIL OUR DOUBLE BIRTHDAY HOUSE PARTY! Our owner, Esperanza, turns 29, and Con Amor turns 1! 🥳

The theme is simple: PLUR. Peace. Love. Unity. Respect. All my fellow ravers know this is the motto at music festivals. Come and share good vibes, dance a little (or a lot) as DJ plays the hottest house tracks 🎶🪩

will also be there doing permanent jewelry! A perfect time to get some bedazzle on your wrist with a loved one⛓️‍💥🤍

We will be open 11AM-2PM, but our DJ will begin to play at 12PM. If dance and music isn’t your thing, you have a chance to come before then.. but the giveaways and swag bags begin at 12😉We have decided to keep our limited menu very simple because we want to actually be able to interact with all of you for once! We are always so busy in the kitchen that we don’t have much time to be up front anymore but we will hopefully meet you out on the “dance floor” this Saturday.

Pastries, coffee or matcha, dance music, what could be better?! We can’t party like we used to so let’s take the chance NOW!💃🏻

Heads up! We have an important announcement to make. Though it’s something we have been putting off and wish we didn’t have to do, it’s necessary in order for us to continue moving forward.

Due to rising ingredient and operating costs, our pastry prices will be increasing starting 5/2/26. We’re committed to using high-quality ingredients and putting care into the pastries you all love so much. We hope you can understand, and we thank you for your continued support 🤍✨

Hello hello beautiful people 🤍🤎

I want to start off by saying, THANK YOU for keeping us as busy as we have been this past week. It’s been lovely to see so many new and returning faces. We are so grateful for you all! We have been pulling 15 hour days and making more croissants than ever before!🥐

We have some sad but TEMPORARY news: we will be closing Wednesdays TEMPORARILY. I emphasize TEMPORARY because it is not going to be forever, nor for too long.

We need this extra day to begin re-organizing our kitchen space and do some deep spring cleaning. Things are a little bit crowded and we feel we aren’t using our kitchens potential to its best ability. We need to strategize and decide what equipment we are going to be upgrading. This also needs to be done in order to introduce an item I have been DYIIIING to introduce but am unable to because you’ve all kept us so busy with our pastries! We are also thinking we may need to add another person to our team, maybe even two…

Our days currently looked like:
Mondays: slight rest day
Tuesdays: full prep day

Now our days will look like:
Monday: full rest day
Tuesday: cleaning, organizing
Wednesday: full prep day

Plzzz don’t be mad at us🥹✌🏻 we’re doing our best and this will only improve things for us! On another note: we have a full menu tomorrow and are ready for you! All cinnamon roll flavors, pastries, drinks, we hope to see you there! ✨

HI FRIENDS! Here with some news. We have decided to close this Sunday 3/15 due to the expected weather. We’re aware it’s not supposed to start until around 10AM Sunday but as we all know, Iowa weather is unpredictable, but one things for sure: it can get really ugly really fast. We’d rather you all be safe and sound in your home! (A rest day on our end doesn’t hurt either🥲)

That being said, we pulled a 15 hour shift today and made as much as we could for tomorrow! I think this is the most items we’ve taken out to overnight proof. Here’s a menu of what you can expect for tomorrow! We have a total of 50+ cinnamon rolls! Last weekend 40 wasn’t enough so we’re doing it big😅

We are more than ready for nice weather and sunny days, but until then, stay warm and stay safe! We hope to see you tomorrow and/or next week🤍
