2025 brought a lot of changes for our family. You may have noticed (or not) how quiet this account has been over the last year. I frequently get asked if I’m still making earrings…so here’s the answer!
A little over a year ago, we were asked to consider going back into foster care. We carefully considered the option because of the connection to our family, and last February, we became a family of four. Shortly after, I found out that I had been accepted to the graduate program I had applied for that would span 15 months. And then, in May, a new job opportunity came forward that I couldn’t pass up.
The last half of 2025 has been wild, chaotic, and full of challenges. It’s also been full of memories, love, and expansion in so many areas of life. So, yes, the shop is still open and you can still shop any existing inventory - trust me, there’s plenty of it! I have six months remaining in grad school, and until that has been completed, I don’t see much time to create new things. I definitely miss the creative outlet, markets, and being among other makers. However, there’s plenty of time in the future to jump back in. And who knows? Maybe some random Saturday, I’ll have some time to sit and create again. Until then, thanks for sticking with us and wanting to support our little shop. 2026 promises to be a year of new chapters!
