Lets remember what today is really about, it is NOT a celebratory holiday, it is a day of solemn rememberance. Check on your veterans, they are mourning fallen brothers and sisters today.

On Memorial Day, it's important to remember we are honoring our fallen. For many, this day is not a happy occasion but a solemn one. Here is some guidance on the appropriate messages to convey:
• Rather than “Happy Memorial Day,” say something like “Have a meaningful Memorial Day.”
◦ It’s also not appropriate to thank a service member for their service on this day, as it is a day for remembering and honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
• Take a moment to recognize and remember. You can even say, “Today and always, I’m remembering [name].”
Remember to speak from the heart and with sincerity, acknowledging the significance of the day and the sacrifices made by those we honor.

Memorial Day is a reminder of the brave men and women who served our country and gave their lives for our freedom.
It's not just a day off; it's a time to think about why we remember these heroes. For veterans, it's a chance to honor those who are no longer here.

My Josie girl!
This girl doesnt have the prettiest udder, or the most structurally sound one but she puts the milk in the pail! 9 weeks fresh and consistently giving over 4lbs at once a day milking. And she was just somebody's field goat before we got her 3 years ago! We are definitely working on udder improvement with her offspring. She's getting up there in age so I'll be keeping all of her doelings for the foreseeable future. Shes probably the only goat that will be allowed to retire and be a field ornament❤️

Our first savanna doe, Countess, kidded today! Her kids are so different from the dairy kids we are used to😯 Look at these chunks!! This is our first experience with an actual meat breed goat and I have to say they are VERY low maintenence.

The goaties are loving the forage! We are blessed to have good pastures with so little rain this year🙏
