Today we welcomed Adam Bloom, Watertown Fire Marshal for a very informative speaker. He talked about anything from inspections, fire alarms, carbon monoxide detectors and etc. Thank you Adam for the information.

Today we granted the Watertown Trap and S***t Club with a $500.00 grant to support youth trap leagues. Trap league is one of the safest growing sports in the US. Pictured are some of the youth kids that will participate in league and board members of the Watertown Trap and S***t. If you are interested, I encourage you to you to reach out to them via their page (shown).

Today we welcomed Dave and Blake from the Prairie Lakes Wellness Center as our guest speakers at our meeting. Looking to become an Optimist member? It’s getting real close, and we are so happy to be a part of this collaboration with Joy Ranch of supporting our vision of helping the kids in our communities! The Watertown Optimist Club assisted in funding for athletic equipment and supplies for this fine establishment. Continue to watch for details about the opening of the Hitchin Post.

Today at our meeting we were honored to hear from two of our scholarship winners Christina Jongbloed and Rowan Raymer. They shared with us there written essays and their plans to further their education at college. We wish them the best of luck in college.
