I met the kindest person at the pharmacy today, and we ended up talking about flowers and bees (my favorite topic, of course ). I mentioned that I’m a beekeeper, and before I knew it, he met me out at my truck and handed me marigolds he had just bought for his own garden, just so my bees could enjoy them.
That kind of thoughtfulness is rare and so appreciated. The bees are going to love them more than you know!

Checked on the bees today and the yard is BUZZING 🐝✨

These girls are hard at work, bringing in nectar and getting everything ready for a strong honey season ahead. Frames are filling fast, traffic at the hive entrances is steady, and you can just feel the energy out there.

There’s something special about seeing a healthy, busy bee yard, it means we’re on track for some beautiful honey soon 🍯

🐝 Big moment at Girlinghouse Farms!

Amy just completed her first successful beehive rescue on her own from a cut-down tree, and it was one for the books. After carefully transferring the colony, the bees are now safe, settled, and thriving in their new home.

What started as a challenging rescue turned into a reminder of why we do this work! Protecting pollinators, respecting nature, and giving these hives a second chance.

Here’s to new beginnings, happy bees, and many more successful rescues ahead! 🐝🌿

Our little pollinators may not be wearing green, but they’re hard at work helping everything grow and thrive today and every day. We’re feeling extra lucky for our bees, our blooms, and this beautiful land we get to care for.
