A peek into the leisurely walk to today’s picnic destination. 🌱🥗 Thank you for a tremendous showing at market and the farm stand this first month of the season. We’re weeding and planting the garden, and growing soap production to keep up with demand and we really appreciate it. Wishing everyone a peaceful and meaningful Memorial Day weekend. 🇺🇸

Get your garden planted this Memorial Day weekend or bring a nice salad to share or host/hostess gift to your events (fudge? soap?). We’ll be set up tomorrow morning (Saturday 5/23) at the Cedar Falls Farmers Market and goods at our farm stand north of Waverly.

New and returning for tomorrow’s Cedar Falls Farmers Market:

- restocked felted soaps with 100% wool from
- tomato plants (cherry and Roma)
- rhubarb plants
- fresh-picked bags of arugula, spinach or lettuce
- little tender salad turnips and greens/tops on
- goats milk fudge
- goats milk soap
- chicken eggs

The farm stand has had some new visitors this week and so we just restocked soaps, fudge and fresh lettuce! Also new: little bitty free stickers with each purchase featuring our awesome new goat logo by local artist (see him for any animal/portrait needs!). We also still have red and orange cherry and classic Italian heirloom Roma tomato plants. Thank you for your support! 💚💚

Waverly, Horton, Plainfield and local neighbors or anyone interested in a country drive, our farm stand is open for you daily from dawn to dusk! Just Google Maps: Kaiser Farm Fresh, north of Waverly.

We just stocked it with our home-sown and grown tomato plants, chive and kale plants, too. Plus goats milk soap and the last few fresh goats milk fudge containers. I’ll be adding fresh salad greens and more produce to the fridge daily again starting tomorrow! Please share with anyone local who may be interested — word-of-mouth is the way! 💚 Thank you!

It’s tomato plant time! 🍅

We will have our stocky-stemmed and deep-potted tomato plants available tomorrow morning at the Cedar Falls Farmers Market and our neighborhood farm stand after that (Saturday afternoon onwards).

We limited our varieties to the top five favorites over the past 12 years at market: sungold and Supersweet 100 are the two cherry varieties, Gilbertie and San Marzano for all the canners and preservers who want lots of thick paste tomatoes, and classic Celebrity for a fresh red slicer. We can’t wait to start picking fresh tomatoes off these guys! 🌱 🌞🍅

Update: Thank you for a successful winter market! We sold out of wool-felted soaps and gift boxes for now, but have all available goat's milk soaps up in our online farm store. We're happy to make custom gift boxes with the varieties remaining per request, and will add more felted soaps within the week. Thanks again!
