After a long HARD day, finally a big win! Our two sweet pasture pets, Sandy and Dutches, who we inherited from a dear friend are finally home. Sandy had not been on a trailer for almost a decade, and Dutches had not been trailered for even longer. They were understandably very nervous, and we tried on three separate occasions to get them loaded. Today, with the help of sedatives prescribed by our vet and several hours of negotiating with the drunk ponies, we are finally successful! A relieved “welcome home” to Sandman’s Ebony Dream and Dutches of Hearts.

The girls were full of it the first few days in the pasture 😂 This turned into 15 minutes of them doing laps from us to the back gate pretending to be feral!
