Jupiter Hills Farm

Jupiter Hills Farm Jupiter Hills Farm is a place where you can trust the quality and origin of the food you consume.

Join us in promoting a healthier, more sustainable way of living. From our land, to your body, together we are out of this world. Kat and Adam Dalton here, just starting our farming journey and thrilled to share a bit of our dreams. I love animals and food, while Adam has a talent for turning hobbies into careers. We started raising chickens in 2020, and despite Adam's initial reluctance, we ended up hatching 70 chicks in 2024, along with raising some meat birds. When I wanted to plant 100 garlic bulbs in 2023, Adam suggested planting 600. So, here we are—raising chickens, growing garlic, and hoping to share a little of our crazy, lovely life with you.

Our first tomato plant was a volunteer that sprang up under the trees where we rotate the pigs—courtesy of some kitchen slop.

Our second tomato plant popped up right in the middle of the dogs’ usual path. Luna was so suspicious of it that she’d jump up onto the retaining wall just to avoid walking past it.

Yesterday, my sister declared she never wanted to see another tomato again after hauling a bag to the housefrom the garden that weighed nearly as much as she did.

But here’s my question for you...

Does anyone else do a little happy dance when they bite into a perfectly ripe tomato? Maybe hum over a fresh tomato sandwich? Or let out a squeal over a slice of tomato pie?

I know I do. I’m an absolute sucker for all things tomato.

We’ll have plenty at the markets for the next little while—all organically grown and raised with lots of love. Until then, stay saucy 🍅

Planted 47lbs of organic ginger with these bad ass women yesterday. Every single pot we owned was used, and then some. First time growing ginger on this scale and in a greenhouse. This is just the first step, next comes transplanting and perhaps some more thoughtful organization.

Easter Lamb Release! Our lambs enjoy a grass-fed diet, supplemented with very occasional organic grain treats, and are rotated weekly on fresh pasture. Feel free to ask us any questions.

We have two lambs available for whole or half purchase at a discounted price. A whole lamb would provide around 25lbs of meat.

For those concerned, rest assured our lambs are raised until just shy of one year old, so the adorable lambs and ewes in our posts aren't part of our meat sales.
