These people cost us $ 6,000,000,000 by pushing Trump into a shutdown. I think Rush and Fox Network should pay for at least 1/2 of the cost of this shutdown. Everyone should post the companies that sponsor these radio and tv hosts. Did any of these talking heads help federal workers that did not get their pay checks?

I like rain but not when there is no black plastic in this garden plot. We only have potatoes and two raised beds done. We are 4 weeks behind is what our customers need to know.

Many have asked how we are doing and how soon we will be at market. Usually we have ground prepared, potatoes planted, kohlrabi here to be planted, and think it is time to order onions soon. We have plants started by Dan Zimmerman, so he has tomatoes, peppers, kohlrabi, and zucchini growing. This picture will show you how we are doing.

We have potatoes, tomatoes, lettuce, spinach, peppers, kohlrabi and watermelons planted but nothing ready yet. We will not be at Webster City Farmers Market this Saturday. We will keep you posted.

We have ordered plants for coming years, dropped cucumbers, and reduced the number of tomatoes to about 250 tomato plants. Working on a seed order this week and have ordered potatoes. Look forward to 2017 growing year.

Will not be at market in Webster City on Saturday our squash and pumpkins died And most crops are done. If someone wants peppers and lettuce call 563-380-9238 set a time for you to come out to the farm.

Will be at Webster City Farmers Market on Saturday, with egg plant, new potatoes - both white and red great for grilling this weekend, dried Ringmaster onions great for onion rings, Sweet Yellow Banana Peppers, Jalapeno Peppers, Bells, and a few bags of lettuce (have not harvest Lettuce yet). Fungus got the tomatoes bad this year, so might not have any tomatoes, but I am sure others will have them at market. See you Saturday.

Egg plant, onions, tomatoes, potatoes, hot and sweet peppers, bell peppers, and 4 bags of lettuce. Lets hope rain stops at 7:00 AM and we will have a great market. No matter what the weather I will be there.

Plan to attend Farmers Market in Webster City on Sat. Will have some onions, lettuce and spinach. Should have some eggs also for sale. It is early and most things not ready. It will be great to see many of you.

Planted 120 tomato plants yesterday and put cages over them that are covered with plastic bags to reduce early blight and poor producing plants. The bags also help increase temperatures to speed up growth. Mostly for blight both early and late season infections.

It is raining and raining hard right now, good Denise got two raised beds 4 ft. by 6 ft. of spinach and two of carrots planted and I planted 6 rows of sweet corn and two 100 ft. rows of beets, and 2-160 ft. rows of green beans Sat. and Sunday.
