It appears the human is more volatile than usual today, characterized by pointless marching to and fro. A curious turn of events led to my kennel confinement, during which time she drove the truck away. But the 2nd human, the one with exceptional dexterity when playing with my ears? He let me loose almost right away. Then, the neighbor's cute Black and Tan hound made an appearance, engaged in brief play, and absconded with my rawhide. It’s been a rough day. I’ve given the human several opportunities to right this wrong, but she just makes this weird gurgling sound and pats my head. Sighing. Perhaps on the next trip. Here she goes again. Better work on the sorrowful gaze…

Today, the unhinged human locked me in my kennel. I know.
She came back an hour later with a new toy, which I assume was a guilt offering.
Unfortunately, she refuses to take any of my professional advice on how to assemble it.
We're going to be here for a while.
