AM Homestead & Rabbitry We are a small homestead and rabbitry in Wentworth, NC. We breed New Zealand and Creme D'argent rabbits for meat, and show.

My youngest baby. My Mic Drop.

No more school drop offs or pick ups. No more packed lunches or award ceremonies. No more field trips or school dances. No more new school clothes and school supplies. No more holiday concerts where I sit in the audience, crying happy tears.

Day 2 of Summer Break 2026 consisted of making homemade bagels so 18 and 20 will LEAVE ME ALONE! 🙄😉😂

Day 1 consisted of decluttering what was meant to take me all summer. 🤷🏻‍♀️😂 I had planned to take a room a week. After a couple cups of coffee and a Cherry Bomb Alani, I decluttered our closet, nightstand, entertainment center and bathroom. Moved to the living room and got it decluttered (except blankets) and got rid of SO many coffee mugs and water cups. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Tomorrow is blankets, pots and pans, dishes, that stinking junk drawer 😭, and the catch all space- the baker’s rack.

Started weaning our April litters today. Taking it slow with Popcorn since she kindled 10 kits this time.

Lucille- 6 bucks out of 8 kits. 🤦🏻‍♀️
Popcorn- 7 bucks out of 10 kits. 😭

Looking like we’ve got 3 jacks. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Hudson is the sweetest of the bunch. Junebug and Opossum are constantly fighting each other (Junebug is the smallest and the alpha 😂) and Hudson just minds his business and flops at his mom’s feet. 💛

Michael and I celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary yesterday.

We left the homestead in the hands of 18 and spent the night away at a hotel, eating junk food in bed, and binge watching The Boroughs on Netflix. 💛

He’s still my favorite person to do nothing with. 🥰
