At 1860 Schulhaus, our elopement package is designed to keep planning simple while still allowing couples to personalize their experience. Instead of coordinating multiple vendors and locations, everything you need for a meaningful ceremony is already thoughtfully in place.

Each package includes:
- A private 2-hour reservation of the venue
- Exclusive access to both indoor and outdoor spaces
- Choice of ceremony location (outdoor ceremony site or indoor historic space)
- Accommodation for up to 25 guests
- Time for portraits throughout the property
- Ch*****ne toast for the couple
- Cake for the couple
- Officiant to perform the ceremony

with Mads with our all inclusive package it’s even easier than it was before and even then we made it easy. But if you’re not close and need a real tip- hire a professional planner with great connections, get married during off peak season and once you make a decision, move on- stop second guessing everything!

POV: What people think venue owners do on their days off… 💰💰💰 Count all that wedding money, obviously. What we’re actually doing: Cleaning out storage rooms. Moving boxes. Finding things we forgot we owned. Asking each other, “WHY DO WE HAVE THIS?” And somehow making the bride and groom rooms look WORSE before they look better. Owning a wedding venue is 10% beautiful weddings and 90% doing jobs you definitely did not realize you were signing up for. But hey… somebody’s gotta clean out the storage room.

I am OBSESSED with this! Did I need it? No. Did I have a plan for it? No was it even in the budget? Also No.. but who’s going say it’s not worth every precious dollar?! We are always looking to expand our decor collection, whether it be standard or premium we definitely make sure it will be the best value for our couples.
