Good information! PINTO is a color, and PAINT is a breed (basically a pinto Quarter Horse*.) 💙➡️Some breeds which can have PINTO coloring but which do not have Paint breeding are: Dutch Warmbloods, Saddlebreds and Gypsy Vanners.
🔹️PINTO=COLOR🔹
🔹️️️PAINT=BREED🔹️
One of our Registrar's easy tips to help you remember: PINTO is 2 syllables and color is 2 syllables, pinto/color2️⃣ PAINT is 1 syllable and breed is 1 syllable, paint/breed1️⃣.

*there are also solid colored Paints in the Paint registry today, but the breed was formed and is best known for being basically pinto Quarter Horses.

Melissa & Doug bought Kismet last year about this time. Kismet was basically an untouched pure 100% Friesian out of 1st Premium Azilelee x prov Approved Begherra that I had the opportunity to buy back and find the perfect owners for her She has flourished and now being ridden.. look at the beautiful smiles of her owner and this gorgeous hunk of a mare! It isn’t all about dressage or combined driving but the love of all kinds of riding on a one of a kind breathtaking horse!!
