No one asked.

05/17/2026

I guess now we’re stuck here.

05/17/2026

Drove too far for this festival…
no regrets.

05/10/2026

Apparently, I thought wrong
I really thought people would stay home today.

With talks of another virus…
the economy being rough…
and everyone just mentally and physically tired…

I honestly thought it’d be slow.
But once again, y’all proved me wrong.

Thank you for choosing us, supporting us, and spending your day with us. We don’t take any of it for granted. Thank you also to the organizers for always taking care of us.

Happy Cinco šŸ‡²šŸ‡½
Celebrating Cinco De Mayo with our Hispanic Brothers and Sisters. We love how our food binds us together and we become one diverse community.

A lil blurry Also, noisy!

Closed the booth, packed everything up, ready to rest…
My brain: ā€œLet’s replay that 7PM rush like game film.ā€

04/19/2026

We thought 3 grills would be enough…
we were WRONG šŸ˜³šŸ”„

Last time in Anaheim, 2 grills couldn’t keep up. So today, we leveled up to 3… thinking we were ready.
But y’all showed up DIFFERENT. Line after line, nonstop.

We accept the challenge šŸ’Ŗ
And honestly? Nothing hits harder than seeing you come back smiling after that first bite… or hearing ā€œthis is šŸ”„ā€ before you even finish your plate.

To our day-ones and repeat customers… we see you. We appreciate you. And we’re not slowing down anytime soon.

So next time… 4 grills?! šŸ‘€šŸ”„

Rain forecast? Still sending it šŸŒ§ļøšŸ”„

Come back for Day āœŒļø!
We cannot thank anyone enough for the support. As per usual, congratulations on a successful event.

The head be loud sometimes 😬
Heart racing, hands shaking… still gotta show up tho

We packed up early
Whole week leading up to this… heatwave had us stressed.

We kept thinking… ā€˜no one’s gonna come out in this weather.’

Day of the event—we pulled up still unsure… watching the sky, feeling that heat…

Then somehow…the weather shifted. It is the beach afterall!!!

Perfect breeze. Sun wasn’t fighting us anymore.

Promoters showed up STRONG. And then the people came… and kept coming.

From worrying all week…to serving a crowd we’ll never forget.
This one meant everything! Due to being sold out, we ended up packing up early. Next time, we’ll be more prepared.

Is this the same for you?
Everyone says strangers will support your business more than your friends.

And honestly… for a lot of small businesses, that’s true.

Strangers will wait in line, pay full price, post your food, and bring their friends back.

But I gotta say… we got lucky.

Because the people who kept showing up to our booth, sharing our food, and pushing us to keep going… were actually our friends.

And the crazy part?

Those strangers who first came as customers… kept coming back so much that they’re basically friends now too.

So yeah, strangers might build your business…

but loyalty turns customers into family.

P.S. We made friends in the vendor community too, that’s always a great plus.

03/15/2026

So we’re just BBQ right?!?
The best feeling is seeing people smile after the first bite… the craziest part is hearing someone ask for a discount right after.

POV: Santa Ana winds eat you up
The Santa Ana winds had our tent fighting for its life before the event even started. šŸŒ¬ļø Our equipment kept acting up, the wind wouldn’t stop, and honestly… we were scared no one would even show up.

But somehow, people still came out. Families, friends, familiar faces… showing love and supporting small businesses. Moments like this remind us how blessed we are. Our city really has the best community. ā¤ļøšŸ”„

They said ā€˜Twas ā€œtoo hotā€ and ā€œnot worth it.ā€
In 86 degree February heat.
Bills still lined up at home.

But culture showed up.
Diversity showed up.
Community showed OUT.

And when you see people take that first bite…
when you see them smile…
when you hear, ā€œthis is SO goodā€ā€¦

You lowkey wanna scream at the top of your lungs because you’re that proud of yourself.

But instead of screaming…
you push harder.
You grind longer.
You build bigger.

Pressure either breaks you or brands you.
We chose the second. Thank you for always making our events worth while. Thank you for your smiles. Thank you for your business.

Because being broke ain’t it.

Besides, living is expensive — so yeah, I’m addicted to working. Bills don’t care about balance. šŸ˜ŒšŸ’¼

Broke, Blessed & Still Grilling

Stitch: The cost of living is insane, that’s why I grind every event like rent’s due tomorrow — and I still wouldn’t trade this life for anything.

And, on top of that, owning a business is so expensive. There’s never a guarantee that you will get any back. But we grind… we grind hard!

POV: You came for to see the dragons dance… but stayed for the BBQ šŸ‘€šŸ”„šŸŒ™

We love Lunar New Year for the lanterns, the music, and the dragons dancing in the streets… but what we love most is the community — families showing up, friends laughing, and everyone just enjoying the moment together. šŸ‰āœØ

How to Win a Girl on Valentine’s Day (Hint: It’s Food) ā¤ļøšŸ½ļø

Win her heart? Start with her stomach. ā¤ļøšŸ”„

Valentine’s Day isn’t about the biggest bouquet — it’s about knowing her favorite plate, remembering the sauce she likes, and showing up with something made (or chosen) with intention.

Flowers die.
Chocolate disappears.
But the guy who pays attention to what she loves?
He stays on her mind.

Feed her well. Treat her right. Secure the second date. šŸ˜ŒšŸ½ļø

02/08/2026

No complaints here šŸ‘

Busy markets are what we pray for.
Long lines, tired feet, sold-out signs, and familiar faces coming back for more.
This is the kind of busy that makes all the slow days worth it. šŸ™šŸ”„šŸ¢

02/01/2026

Still hoping for the day we don’t have to prove we belong.

Some days we’re not chasing growth or applause.
We’re just hoping to stand in a room without feeling like we have to earn our place.

We show up early, follow the rules, work twice as hard—and still feel like belonging comes with conditions. Every ā€œmaybe next timeā€ reminds us that space isn’t always made for everyone.

So we keep building anyway.
Not for validation—
but for the day we can finally say, we belong, without explaining why.

Money out: guaranteed.
Money in: not promised. šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø

That’s the reality of running a small business—bills don’t wait, expenses keep coming, and faith does most of the heavy lifting. Still, we show up every day, invest in ourselves, and keep pushing even when the numbers don’t add up yet. Tough seasons don’t mean failure—they mean we’re still in the fight. Better days are coming. šŸ’ŖšŸ”„

POV: January was dead šŸ’€

January was quiet.
No events. No crowds.

Just us… hoping for S-O-M-E-T-H-I-N-G!

This is the part of small business ownership nobody glamorizes. The waiting. The hoping. The checking emails that don’t come. The calendar with empty weekends and big dreams still circled in bold.

It’s hard not to question yourself during months like this. Hard not to wonder if you’re doing enough, if people still care, if the work is worth it. But even in the slow seasons, we remind ourselves why we started.

We’re hopeful for February.
We’re praying the rest of the year brings opportunities, growth, and moments that make the long days worth it. We’re trusting that quiet doesn’t mean the end—it just means preparation.

To every small business going through a slow start this year: you’re not alone. We’re still here. Still pushing. Still believing.

Here’s to better months ahead šŸ¤šŸ”„
