The Little Left Field Library

As you can see from the picture below, our libraries are in a current state of disarray. It appears our libraries are not being used as it is intended to be used. We ask you again, do not clean off your bookshelves and put your books in the library. Please do not shove books in the library, as shown in this picture picture. And please do not put magazines, pamphlets, etc, books only. When the books are like this, they cause the door to not close, the books get wer and we have to throw them away. Please stop doing this.

The purpose of the library is you take a book and you read it. You either return it or you put in a different book, it is NOT for cleaning off your bookshelves. Not sure who continues to do this, but we ask you to PLEASE stop doing this. We do not want to have to remove the libraries, but we will need to make changes if this continues.

The library was cleaned up today and new books for the adults were added!! Lots of kids books are in this library, but we could always use more! Just a friendly reminder, no religious advertisements...they all get removed and destroyed.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are temporary closing the library, as of Sunday, March 29th.

Covid-19 can spread via surface to surface contact. Due to this, we have decided to temporarily close this library until the threat has passed…and it will pass.

The library will be emptied tonight. We ask that you refrain from donating or returning any books during this closure.

We will reopen when it is safe for our community.

Stay distanced, stay healthy, was your hands and support one another!

I received an Advanced Reader Copy (ARC) of this book and have added it to the library. It is not being released to the public until February 5th, but you will find a copy in our library!
