Hi friends! 🍂

Today was the second-to-last farmers market of the season! I brought:

🍌 Sourdough blueberry chocolate banana bread
✨ Sugar-glazed pecans
🥥 Gluten-free coconut crisps
🤍 Gluten-free pecan meltaways
💪 Our popular sugar-free power balls

My usual spot was already taken, so we set up next to the honey vendor today. Things started off so slowly that I wondered if we would even reach $100 in sales. 😅

Then familiar faces started showing up, and free samples helped bring some new friends over, too. We ended the day with close to $400 in sales!

As many of you know, I use premium ingredients and choose organic as much as possible, so ingredient costs add up. I also pay my neighbor to help when I need an extra pair of hands. After expenses, I took home about $160 for 14 hours of nonstop work, including preparation and market time.

Was it worth it? Financially, probably not. 😂

But I got to meet so many wonderful people, catch up with familiar faces, and share food I love making. I also soaked up plenty of sunshine—and came home with lots of leftover treats for my friends and me to enjoy. 😊

So… I guess it was worth it. ❤️

Next Wednesday will be the last market of the season! I’ll do my best to bring back all your favorites so you can stock up before the season ends. 🛍️

🚐 A little change of plans for today!

Our van decided it needed a day off… 😂 so I guess Ivy’s Kitchen is taking the hint and doing the same!

We won’t be at the West Lafayette Farmers Market today, but the market is still happening! If you’re out and about, please stop by and support all the wonderful local vendors. ❤️

We’ll miss seeing everyone today and hope to be back next Wednesday!

With the Mid-Autumn Festival coming up, I’m also working on adding gluten-free mooncakes to our menu. 🥮✨ Stay tuned — I’m excited to share them with you!

A little change of plans for this week 💛

Ivy’s Kitchen will be taking this Wednesday off from the West Lafayette Farmers Market.

I was planning to be there, but my body told me this morning that it might be a good week to slow down and rest a little. 😊

We’ll miss seeing everyone this week, but we’ll be back next Wednesday with fresh sourdough pretzels and more goodies!

Wednesday was a beautiful evening at the West Lafayette Farmers Market.

Our Lemon Light Cheesecake sold out, the Power Balls sold out, and we met so many wonderful neighbors.

Yesterday’s market was such a blessing—Ivy’s Kitchen sold out for the first time! 🎉

I got up at 2 a.m. and made sourdough banana bread, gluten-free lemon blueberry mini loaves, cinnamon sugar pecans, date-pecan power balls, and Chinese brown sugar date cakes—and every item was gone. Our surprise peach lemonade was a hit too! 🍋🍑

Jennifer’s artwork received so much love, including a generous $100 gift for art supplies. Thank you to the amazing market staff, Peggie, Helen, Clara, Yu Zhang, and every friend and customer who helped, visited, and supported us.

A beautiful day filled with food, art, kindness, and community. Thank you for being part of Ivy’s Kitchen. ❤️
