Took our dot cakes out of the bakery for the sweetest afternoon. 🤍

We teamed up with our friends at The Bungalow by Gypsy at Caroline Station for a dot cake workshop in the heart of West Palm Beach. A table full of sprinkles, buttercream, flowers and some seriously good cake making.

And my favorite part? My most trusted set of hands came with me. Getting to work alongside my son made this one extra special.

The part you don’t always see. ✨

One minute we’re in our everyday clothes setting desserts, fixing the last little details and making sure everything is exactly where it belongs.

The next, we’re sparkling and ready for the party.

Allison and I spent the evening at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables for a beautiful vendor event, doing what we’ve done together so many times over the years: make it pretty, make it happen, then somehow get ourselves party-ready too.

From circus cakes to Trolls, princesses, race cars, rainbows, puppies, hockey and everything their little imaginations have dreamed up, we’ve made a lot of kids’ birthday cakes over the years. 🥹

And somehow, while we were busy making their birthdays, they kept growing up.

To all of our Earth & Sugar kids heading back to school today, from the littlest ones walking into their very first classroom to the seniors starting their last first day, we hope this year is a beautiful one.

Thank you for letting our Palm Beach cake studio be a tiny part of so many childhood memories. We’ve loved creating your custom birthday cakes here in West Palm Beach and watching your families come back year after year.
