Bring'n Home the Bacon Once again provided a great venue and fabulous contest.

Day 2 results found us out of the top in both chicken and ribs.

We were not too far out as we took 10th overall out of 28 teams. As an added bonus, we won the wild child (11th place ribs).

Congratulations Fender Bender BBQ on the GC and Tankerbell BBQ for RGC!

Bring'n Home the Bacon Comp 1 of 2 is all wrapped up. We felt we turned in good entries but ended up just outside the top 10. Out of 38 teams:

13th chicken
13th ribs
14th overall

Congratulations to Sassy Smoke BBQ on a well deserved GC and to Kick Ash BBQ on their RGC.

We will do it again tomorrow.

Anything Bacon ancillary at Bring'n Home the Bacon
I went with Bacon and Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip cookies with a Bacon Maple whipped cream frosting topped with bacon crumbles.
The judges had a texture issue with my entry and I landed in 11th out of 25 entries.
I can fix that texture issue and these will be amazing!
The white oak Stoaked BBQ Pellets complimented the cookies perfectly.
More to come tomorrow.
