A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Genovese built a career spanning more than five decades, including his work with Randall Veterinary Hospital and as cofounder of Cleveland Equine Clinic LLC. Widely recognized as a pioneer in equine limb ultrasonography, his advancements helped transform how veterinarians diagnose and treat lameness — influencing care for horses around the world. Many can attest to his dedication and impact, which led to him joining The Foundation for the Horse's My Mentor Honor Wall in 2019.

But perhaps his greatest impact is found in those who continue to follow his guidance.

First 2026 grow out pullet egg has been laid! 😍😍😍 so sad that it was broken when we found it! But it is GORGEOUS!
I’m not sure which pullet laid this, but my oldest ones came from Snowfall Poultry and hatched roughly 18 weeks ago.
Thank you Kellie for these amazing hens and the genetics they bring to my flock!

Rescue Equine spotlight:

Sister - the 11 hr kill-pen pull from last October.

We believe she is AQHA, but obviously, no papers.

When we pulled her we had hoped we could make her sound/sane enough for lite riding.

She went from trying to knock us out by punching with her head or head butting us, and or kicking anytime we touched her, to being loved on and ground tying while we brush her every AM before applying fly spray.

She is now also comfortable enough that she lays down in her stall…

She will never be sound enough for riding. She is now “safe” enough that she enjoys human touch again. We are determined to give her the best possible life and comfort until she tells us it is time.

We know this is a long shot since we do not have our 501c3 status yet, but we would love to find Sister a sponsor. If interested please send me a PM, or surprise us by having any of the supplements shipped directly.

Some of you who’ve known me a while know I have trouble sleeping.. so I go out and look at the stars… it’s incredibly humbling every time…

I believe that is Cepheus in the upper left, next to Cassiopeia and part of the Perseus in the bottom right of the shot…
