🍒🍒 We’re still picking and selling beautiful Montmorency tart cherries, great for baking, juice, ice cream sauce! Anyone interested in some to use now or freeze for that cherry pie this winter, please put your order on Facebook Messenger or the market email and we can get the order together and meet you for pickup. The tart cherries are $2.50 a pound. The season will soon be over, so don’t miss out. Thanks to all who have responded so far. 🍒🍒

We promised to keep you updated on market… we don’t yet know for sure when our Saturday market hours will begin, most likely early July. We are picking sweet cherries, but it is not a large crop this year and since gardens are still growing, we probably will not be opening in June like last year.

The tart cherries 🍒 are looking good and we will probably start picking this week. Please reach out if you are interested in the delicious Montmorency tart cherries… think pie, cobbler, sauce for ice cream 🙂, juice over ice or in lemonade and we love a nice savory sauce for chicken or pork.

So, that’s where we are. We will let you know when we are ready to open for the season.
Look forward to it!

Happy Spring 🌷🪻🌷! There’s no turning back now, the trees know what time it is. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that overnight temperatures don’t go much below freezing from here on out. If Mother Nature cooperates, cherries 🍒 will be coming in June. We will keep you posted ahead of the market opening. Enjoy your Spring!
