Melanie's Homemade Gotta Get em Goodies Baking Business About Me

I have been baking for as long as I can remember.

I first learned
about baking from my dad, who would make wonderful sweet rolls, a recipe he learned from his mother. While growing up, I often enjoyed making the desserts for family meals and learned much about the pleasure of baking and the joy it brings to others. I also love cooking and I have set out to learn many differing styles of cooking and trying new recipes. I even worked at a Cajun re

staurant for some time and enjoyed experiencing different cooking techniques and ethnic cuisine. But baking is my first and greatest passion and definitely something I keep coming back to and enjoy doing immensely. Although I love trying new recipes, methods and techniques,
I have perfected many dessert recipes and find practice does
make perfect and using the best ingredients is the best way to get
the ultimate end result. Whether or not you buy any cookies/treats, I appreciate you taking the time to read this page about me.

Love the chocolate covered strawberrie that I previously put on top of my brownie bites, but they only are good for a very limited time. So, decided to try red chocolate covered freeze-dried strawberries. Pretty happy with the flavor and texture 😋🍓
