For years, most of you have known us from our tamales…
So yes, we realize going from selling tamales to starting a Christian nonprofit and building an app is a pretty aggressive plot twist. 😂
But here we are.
My wife and I are excited to finally share ShieldWall.
ShieldWall is a Christian nonprofit we started with a simple belief: men were never meant to fight their battles alone.
We’re building an app designed to connect men through real brotherhood, prayer, accountability, service, and action.
At the center of it is the Shield.
When a man is struggling and needs his brothers, he can raise his Shield. The men in his trusted group are alerted so they can respond—whether that means praying, calling him, checking on him, or showing up.
But ShieldWall is bigger than one button. We’re building a place for men to strengthen each other, serve one another, stay accountable, and build the kind of brotherhood that doesn’t disappear when life gets hard.
This started as an idea. Now ShieldWall is officially becoming real, and we’re incredibly excited to see where God takes it.
We’ve started a GoFundMe to help with the cost of building and launching the app. We’re not asking everyone who sees this to donate. Sharing this post or our fundraiser with someone who believes in the mission can help us just as much.
