🚨 Hello everyone!!! 🚨

I am catering and co-hosting an event that showcases the rich history of Latin cooking, celebrating its diverse cultural roots and culinary traditions. Marilyn Mendez-Maldonado

The event will feature a DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) presentation, provided by Franca Roibal Fernández session that explores the role of Latin cuisine in shaping cultural identity and promoting social equity.

You can expect a diverse audience of food enthusiasts, cultural enthusiasts, and community leaders who are passionate about celebrating the vibrancy and diversity of Latin cuisine.

The event will include a fundraiser for families affected by pediatric cancer. Part of the proceeds will be going towards supporting their needs.

The event will be a unique opportunity to indulge in a range of authentic Latin dishes while engaging in meaningful conversations about the role of food in shaping cultural identity and promoting inclusivity. All of this will be happening at Verde

🚨BREAKING NEWS🚨

Save the date for this incredibly close to my heart event that I am hosting with my two amazing fellow latina entrepreneurs and besties!!! Shawnnah of Verde in Bethlehem and Franca Roibal Fernández from Sol y Luna Consulting www.solylunaconsulting.com.

Meeting these two women has changed my life! Our values align and it is like a breath of fresh air to know that we are not alone in this scary world of business that was not created for us.

This event has been in the works for a while and it’s finally happening! I hope you will save the date and join us for a night hosted by Verde, of delicious food homemade by Marilyn Mendez-Maldonado, with a little food history/anthropology/education thrown in to hopefully get us thinking about how everything is linked and social justice can be fun and delicious.

Yesterday Jane Danan and I Marilyn Mendez-Maldonado attended the Pre Eid Bazaar at the Mosque on Schadt Ave, Whitehall PA.

I sold out my halal beef and cheese and halal chicken and cheese Pastelillos!!

Delish kookies LLC also sold out of her amazing baked goods. She had tarts, baklava, Moroccan cookies, sugar cookies and so much more. I'm so proud of your accomplishments my friend!! Thanks for always including me.

I even got a beautiful henna done!!

By attending this event, you can help raise vital funds for life-saving research and treatment options for children like Leo. Your support will help Leo and his family work towards a future where no child has to suffer the devastating effects of cancer.

🏆 Friends and Family of the Lehigh Valley area in PA, The Witches Day Out festival is hosting a Bingo at the Slatington Moose Family Center No. 1375 on April 29th, 2023!

Please Call Megan Schroy at 484-602-1416 to get your $25 tickets in advance!! They will be $30 at the door the day of the event!

We will have vendors available, I will personally be there with your Favorite Puerto Rican and American food and drinks will be available for purchase through the Moose Lodge.

The doors open at 4pm and Bingo starts at 6:00 PM. Come early so you can get an idea of some of the Amazing prizes donated by Northampton's very best businesses! Please share to help us generate ticket sales!! 🎟️

❤️ As a vendor at the recent 1 Million Cups Lehigh Valley networking event, I had a blast interacting with attendees and showcasing my products/services.

The event had a great turnout and a lively atmosphere, with attendees excited to learn about different vendors and make new connections. I had the opportunity to meet many interesting people, and the event provided ample time for me to connect with potential clients and partners.

The event staff did a great job of making sure that vendors had everything they needed to showcase their products/services effectively.

The refreshments were delicious. I left the event feeling energized and with several new leads that I am excited to follow up with.

Overall, the event was a great success for me as a vendor, and I look forward to participating in future events.

If y'all are looking for some you can find her tomorrow at A. M. Bakery in Nazareth. She was invited to do a POP UP SHOP at this beautiful bakery. Go and support her.
