Update only a quarter remains. I just picked up half a beef from the processor. This is a Certified Angus Beef ® brand beef hormone free and never given antibiotics. This week we were recognized at the Wisconsin State Fair for the Sesquicentennial Farm Award. It is an honor to farm the land Brandan's ancestors did. They purchased this land in 1876 and our kids are the 6th generation to care for these acres. Yes they all drive tractor and play a big role in this operation. The Fabulous Farm Babe spoke at the breakfast ceremony and she spoke about the generations before us. The way of life and the tools for farming looked much different back then. Brandan remembers the team of horses that did the hard labor of field work, names were "Dolly & Babe". We still have their work collars in the barn. Sometimes changes are necessary but one thing that never changes is the resilience and determination of the farmer to keep doing the work day after day. Generations of this mentality have gotten us to this point. Thank you for the opportunity to farm and the trust our customers have in our operation. We can't imagine any other way. We love what we do. And we love our land here in beautiful Wisconsin.
