💛 A Heartfelt Apology & Update from Smetzers Snack Shack 💛

First, we want to apologize to everyone for the last-minute cancellations this week. Some of you may have noticed that we’ve had to cancel a few pop-ups, and unfortunately, we will not be attending today’s scheduled event or the Farmers Market tomorrow morning.

We believe in being honest with our customers, and while this is deeply personal information, we feel that you all deserve an explanation. Our family is currently experiencing a heartbreaking loss, as my wife is going through a miscarriage. It has been extremely difficult physically and emotionally, and right now her health and recovery need to be our top priority.

She is resting, receiving the care she needs, and taking the time necessary to heal. We appreciate every message, prayer, and bit of understanding that has been shown to our family during this difficult week.

The good news is that we do plan to be at our event tomorrow afternoon/evening—just the Donut Guy running the show, per my wife’s orders. 😆🍩🙏 Happy wife, happy life, right?

Thank you all for your patience, understanding, and grace as we navigate this unexpected season. Supporting a small family business means you’re supporting the family behind it, and for that, we are incredibly grateful.

We hope you’ll forgive us for the cancellations this week, and we look forward to serving you again very soon.

We have grown quite a bit in the last few weeks, so we thought it was a beautiful idea to RE introduce the people behind Smetzers Snack Shack!

Many of yall know me as “the donut guy” or the”local donut plug” 🔌🙏🏼
My name is Aj and my wife is Bryceann. We are the husband and wife duo behind Smetzers Snack Shack!🍩 it started off as an idea, turned into something I never stopped talking about… then we decided to launch it👏🏼 full throttle lol 😆

We have only been in the business for a little over a year, but we are SEVERELY grateful for our communities support. We have learned some hard lessons along the way. (As will any business owner)🙌🏻 but one thing we have stood by is this business is a blessing.

We have 5 children and it allows us to spend so much more time with them, homeschool them, teach them about soooo much more than we ever would have been able to! Allows us to have quality family time that we never had because I was working long hours before this!

If yall have been following for a while…. Yall know we are HUGE animal lovers. We even adopted one of our pups last year at an event we were working 🫣🐾 so if y'all bring your fur babies by the booth, expect us to be gushing all over them lol 😆 🥹 (I'll add a cute pic of my toffee girl we rescued!)

We have HUGE changes coming to our business this week, this month and this year. Without the support our community and surrounding communities, we wouldn’t be here in this position today. We appreciate you all so much!👏🏼🙏🏼

Slight change in plans, we were going to be set up today with Oma’s Kitchen on 7th and Scott!

However, we’re having a little bit of a family emergency, so We will not be out there with them! BUT we highly encourage yall to go out and support our friends from 11-3👏🏼😍

They have DELCIOUS authentic German food! My wife’s personal favorite is their loaded German fries!🤤🤤 SOO GOOD!

Let’s Talk banana pudding mini donuts 🍩 🍌

It’s officially been a week since we introduced this new addition to our menu, and I must say I am pleasantly surprised by how many people LOVE this!🙌🏻

Almost everytime we have set up, the banana pudding has sold out 🫣 we are super grateful and appreciative! However, we had no idea. This was gonna be such a hit👀
