Shoutout Sunday: Remember where you came from
I worked really hard on Friday, maybe a little too hard. But that set me up to bring more rolls to the market than I ever had-230 total. And we were very close to a sellout still. But me, wanting to get the savory rolls into bellies while as fresh as possible, I threw the ball to you guys to snag up the extra today. By this morning, my inbox had enough messages to sell me out.
Sunday is what I call my Dead Zone Day. I usually donāt do any work, let alone leave my bedside much. But woke up with a fervor I havenāt felt in a while, even with less sleep. So off I went with my cooler in my trunk to make pickups and deliveries all afternoon. Sprinkled in, was a drop off to both of my parents to exchange rolls for hugs. I am so blessed.
Something about popping that trunk in the parking lot of a Quicktrip took me straight back to my first days in this business. I even got the drug deal comment again, which is kind of fitting right? Although my grind is spent sweating more in the kitchen than driving around town-or sitting in a parking lot, the passion has never left, only changed.
Everyone I met with today reminded me again why I like doing this. The interaction and feedback from the face to face sales is what gives me the drive to keep creating. You guys inspire me and make me believe what I am doing itās important. So thank you for showing up for me. This shoutout goes to my day ones, for believing in me, and my old self for seeing it through. Life will take detours to some pretty beautiful destinations if you let it. Sometimes the sale may be slower, but sometimes that makes it more meaningful.
