It is crazy how fast time goes by! After changing our focus from growing and selling Microgreens, to teaching others about gardening, the health benefits of organic gardening and more, we realize how much more we want to share with our followers! While healthy living is at the heart of what we do, sharing our crazy life with you brings everything together! So stay tunned as we continue to adjust some of our Facebook posts and website content. Mental Health Awareness is not talked about often enough. From depression, anxiety, to more advanced mental illness. John Hopkins estimates that 1 in 4 adults suffers from some form of mental illness. Not all mental illnesses are alike or can be treated the same. However, I know from personal experience, that working in the garden can decrease depression and anxiety. Being in the sunshine, watching beauty before your eyes! So today please take the time to make sure you are putting your health first!

Check out these seedlings. Germinated beautifully, and growing nicely. They are currently starting to be acclimated to warmer weather by setting them out on nice days, and bringing them back into their holding area during cool or very hot days. As the weather gets warmer they will get planted at the correct time! But even more impressive, this strawberry planted was transplanted to a new area for this year and already has berries! Needless to say...I ate those berries :)! And if you don't have alot of room using these bags are amazing. As I am not doing such a huge garden this year between work, kids, etc I love these bags. They are easy to use, and I know all my produce for my family will be organic!

Everyone in the path of the storm in Kansas, stay safe!!! And if you already have stuff planted, you can cover them with comforters, or blankets, to help protect them from any hail we may receive!

If you like to start your own plants from seeds, and there is still time to get some plants started from seed, like: cucumbers or marigolds (and we know everyone have different opinions on Marigolds, they can be beautiful to add color to potted containers, and helpful in organic gardening to keep back bugs away)!!! I love these starter sets, with the humidity cover, LED lights to mimic sunlight and takes the guess work out of having to water your seedlings!!!
