We've had a busy spring here at the farm so far. We are very excited that our first CSA shares are going out next week. Farm fresh eggs, radish, lettuce, onions, hakurei turnips, and more! We look forward to some normalcy in the coming months, and hope to see you at the market this summer!

Melon lovers, have you ever tried an orange watermelon? This variety tastes similar to a typical red watermelon, but is slightly less sweet.

We finished up our last CSA shares this week, thank you to all of our members for a great year! We aren't done growing this year though, so stay tuned for info on the fall and winter markets we will attend in the coming months!

Our tomatoes have been fashionably late to the party this year! All the rain this season has really slowed them down. Now that things have dried out a bit, they are starting to ripen right up! We're starting to harvest these beauties this week for our CSA members to enjoy :)

The amount of rain has finally slowed down, and the sun has come out! Our produce is growing almost as fast as the weeds! CSA members have been enjoying our fresh strawberries, purple top turnips, and hakurei turnips. The hakurei turnips are delicious for snacking on fresh, but are also great roasted or diced up and added to a salad.

We have been busy harvesting! Here’s a peek into our CSA shares from this week, which included: Bronze Arrow lettuce, Red Russian kale, radishes, purple mustard greens, and Carlton Asian greens. Ever wonder how to keep pests out of the garden without the use of conventional insecticides? There are a variety of organic approved options to help fight against critters, including sprays and nettings. We use a product called Agribon to cover vulnerable plants. Light and moisture can pass through, but the bugs can’t!
