The Creole and Southern Kitchen has been closed for a couple of weeks while I assisted a friend and chef in the opening of a brand new place in Andover and today I'm leaving for Kansas City to begin a month long consult on a new place that just opened.

It's possible that this could turn into a long term opportunity but we will be back in Wichita eventually and look forward to serving you again.

Thank you very much for your business and support. Turning over a new page in the story is very exciting!

New menu item alert!

Chargrilled chicken pasta with Creole tomato sauce and cavatappi with fresh oregano and basil from the garden. We dust the chicken breast with our herb and spice blend then cook over a hot grill so it gets that char on the outside but stays nice and tender. It's sliced and served over ridged corkscrew pasta that holds the faintly smoky tomato and herb sauce that's been slow simmered with a little of our housemade Andouille sausage and fresh herbs from our aeroponic garden.

Order a pasta for delivery or pickup and we'll include an order of our Brioche pecan bread pudding (while supplies last)

Getting the best ingredients we possibly can is important to us. That's why changing your menu to fit what's in season makes flavors really resonate. So as we ease from spring into summer we had to add peaches and asparagus to our entree offerings.

Here's our deuling boneless pork chops with mashed sweet potatoes, asparagus and grilled peaches tossed in Louisiana cane syrup.

Available alongside our menu of Southern and Creole favorites like seafood gumbo, jambalaya and Brioche pecan bread pudding Wed- Fri from 6pm to 930pm for delivery or pickup through Doordash.

Thursday and Friday while supplies last - order our new sandwich the Pulled Pork with Carolina sauce and get a free 5pc peel and eat jumbo shrimp with remoulade sauce appetizer! No coupons or hoops just place your order and we'll add the extras!

The sandwich is Yoder pork shoulder, cooked low and slow, tossed with our molasses and cider vinegar scratch made sauce and served on a Reverie bakery brioche bun with Zapps Voodoo chips on the side.

The jumbo shrimp are gently poached and served chilled with our housemade Creole remoulade sauce- think tartar sauce on steroids...
