THE HOLIDAY DIARY IS FULL. THE CHIEF INDULGENCE OFFICER NEEDS A MOMENT. 🍫🎄

Our holiday event schedule has come together, and goodness… the Atelier’s rather questionable characters are going to have quite the social season.

There will be chocolates to discover, beautiful gift boxes to reserve, and plenty of opportunities to find a little something for someone lovely. Yourself included, naturally.

Behind the scenes, Rafael is preparing for a demanding workload, the chocolates are practising their most persuasive looks, and the Chief Indulgence Officer’s head is spinning.

“I’ll have a little holiday myself after Christmas,” she said.

Then someone reminded her she’d booked a Valentine’s Day event.
She is now requesting a hot chocolate, a good lie down, and the name of whoever gave her access to the calendar. 😂☕️

In all seriousness, I’m so looking forward to sharing this season with you. Every visit, kind word and box chosen as a gift means so much to this little business.

“Your chocolates are just divine. I can’t believe they have no added sugar.” 🍫💛

The recipient of one of our nine-piece boxes called me this morning to tell me this—and rather made my day.

He follows a no-sugar diet, and our chocolates had given him a way to enjoy a little indulgence again, without compromising the way he chooses to eat.

That’s so much of the reason the Chocolate Atelier exists.

I want that first bite to be about the chocolate. The flavour. The texture. The little moment when you close your eyes and decide that, actually, the next few minutes belong entirely to you.

Then comes the lovely surprise: no added sugar.

There’s a great deal of making, tasting and refining behind these rather mischievous little characters. To hear that they’ve brought someone that pleasure makes every bit of it worthwhile.

Thank you to everyone who shares their chocolates, their kind words, and their delight. Somewhere in the Atelier, there’s a very happy chocolate maker with a full heart. 🤎

She could charm the combination out of a safe.

Beneath her dark chocolate exterior lies a luscious caramel cream—buttery, silky and persuasive enough to make “just one” sound entirely reasonable.

Dressed with a little gold dust, she’ll let you believe it was your idea. By the second bite, she’ll have your full cooperation. 😏

Her debut has already caused something of a disturbance in the Atelier. The Chief Indulgence Officer and Chief Taste Tester are currently duking it out over who gets to eat the remaining stock.

**There are just 20 bonbons from this precious first batch left for sale.** We feel their survival now depends on outside intervention.

🤎 Friends of the House have until midnight tonight, Friday October 16, Arizona time, to claim theirs before it’s open season on the remaining debut batch.

This is our last one for the season and we've been busting out all stops to get three new flavours from our Holiday range out for you to try, but please be aware that we will likely be closing early.

Sooo, please pop in early while the weather is calm so you can enjoy some samples and take your time with selections.

I've extended pre-orders for chocolates until 5pm this evening so that you can have a smooth experience and get home while the weather is calm.

Bold raspberry ganache wrapped in dark Velvet 70—tart, luscious and just a little improper.

All are made by hand in tiny batches, so availability may vary depending on which characters have been behaving themselves in the Atelier.

We asked where she was on the night in question.

Operation Holiday Mischief is gathering momentum, and some rather shady characters are preparing to make their first public appearance.

❄️ THE MASTERMIND
Cool peppermint fondant beneath dark Velvet 70. The brains behind the operation—composed, calculating, and suspiciously good at leaving you wanting more.

🍊 THE ACCOMPLICE
Silky Velvet 55 orange ganache with a sophisticated orange-cordial twist. Smooth-talking, dangerously persuasive, and always ready to help you get away with one more chocolate.

🍓 THE ALIBI
Creamy Velvet Ivory with strawberry and delicate Chardonnay notes—all the intrigue, without the alcohol. She insists she’s sweet and innocent. We’re still checking her story, so her appearance may be delayed… she’s currently detained for questioning.

For our final market at Jake’s Butcher Shop on Saturday, October 10, I’m making a very small batch of The Mastermind and The Accomplice to give our lovely loyal customers a first taste of the holiday collection before its full release. The Alibi will join them if questioning goes well. 😉
