Tanya and Mike are the owners of South Street Cookies in Williamsburg, Iowa. Tanya is the cookie decorator and main voice you'll hear behind the business. I'm a former photographer turned cookier and in 2019 this hobby I picked up turned into a business. As

we got busier, Mike started helping with packaging and now he bakes our drop cookies. We bake from our home and don't have a storefront at this time. We operate under Iowa Cottage Bakery laws and are exempt from state licensing and inspection. During the summer you'll find us at Farmers Markets and occasionally we'll have "Porch Pop Ups" outside our home. If you want to keep tabs on where we'll be for local events and in-person cookie decorating classes, make sure to sign up for our email newsletter through our website. At this time, custom orders are for local pick up only. However, we do offer shipping for select items such as holiday pre-orders, DIY Kits, Paint Your Own Cookies, and Drop Cookies. We’re officially back into cookie class season! We kicked off our Fall classes this past Saturday with a sold-out Dessert themed class, and it was such a fun afternoon! Everyone did SO well, and I loved seeing all of the finished cookies come together. I’m sharing a few photos from the class because these cookies deserve to be shown off!

If you missed this one, don’t worry, our next class is coming up on Saturday, September 12th at 2pm at Fireside Winery - Marengo🍷 ! We’ll be decorating adorable Bee & Honey themed cookies 🐝🍯, and we’re offering a 2-for-1 deal, so grab a friend and come decorate with us!

No experience necessary, just come ready to have some fun and learn how to decorate cookies with royal icing.
