Just wanted to update everyone as to our status. By the grace of our Lord, my kidney recipient and I are home doing well. Her kidney numbers are great so I am grateful that my kidney is doing its job! TRULY GRATEFUL FOR ALL THE PRAYERS AND SUPPORT THAT WE HAVE RECEIVED!! ♥️

The laundry will most likely be closed for the full 8 weeks; healing takes a bit longer when you have more days on the calendar as my doctor stated. I will post when we are open and may peace be with you all. 💜

So I guess everyone is wondering how Wendy is doing today with the kidney donation,
She went into surgery this morning at 8:20 and finished at 11:15, I just got done talking to her surgeon and she did great, she had some slight challenges with a extra blood vessel on her kidney but they knew that going in.
She is being taken to recovery now.
The recipient of her kidney was taken into surgery at 11:30, it will be a little while until we get any further information on how she is doing.

Want to thank all of our customers for their understanding about not taking in any more blankets at this time. And for all the support and prayers going up for me and the young mother that will be receiving one of my kidneys. Our surgeries are scheduled for August 28th. So blessed and grateful to you all!!
