Karen's Artisan Popcorn

Our Story:
Growing up, Karen learned her love of baking from her mom, and the fun science behind cooking, from her dad, a food scientist. Along with her excitement for the movies, at home with family, or out at the theater, this drove Karen to perfect her own popcorn recipe. A delectable blend of herbs, spices, and sea salt, all topped onto organic popcorn, carefully kettle-cooked, “Karen-style”.

Friends and family said, “You must sell this!” Karen had already found her passion for teaching young children, however. Then she met Reg! When Karen met her love, Reg, who also loved the movies and delicious food, along with Karen, they knew they would be together forever. They decided to take their love story to Vermont when they were awed by the state's warm people, beautiful mountains, and angelic Lake Champlain. While out hiking, snowshoeing, meeting new people, and enjoying each day, Karen was continually inspired by their now true-home. Reg's business and stand-up comedian background, along with Karen's unique recipes and popcorn creation-drive meant it was time to share the joy and amazing taste of Karen's Artisan Popcorn with the world! Karen has been having a blast creating her popcorn, and experimenting with new popcorn flavors. They have been having fun meeting people while selling at farmers markets, and sharing their popcorn through stores and events in the Burlington, Vermont area.
