I’m hosting a fundraiser to benefit Foster Village NTX. This very worthy non-profit has a special place in my heart!!! My son & his wife started their foster/adopt journey a few years ago. About 3 years ago, they received a call, asking if they were open to fostering a set of twins that had just been born! They agreed and their journey to adoption started and led to the finalization of the adoption just after the twins turned one. But, during their journey, Foster Village was such a HUGE support to them – both thru physical needs and emotional.
Andrew & Julie remain very involved with Foster Village. Foster Village provides physical needs, such as clothing, diapers, cribs/beds, car seats, mattresses, shoes, even some fun books and toys – just to name some examples, since most of these kiddos arrive with just the clothes on their backs!
Foster Village also hosts a number of events, designed to provide emotional support, such as a monthly parents night out where the parents are able to drop their kiddos off with certified caregivers and go out as just husband & wife, which Is much needed!!!
I could go on and on, but you can check out the web page at https://www.fostervillagentx.org/
This is a quick last minute pop-up show and will close August 31st in order to qualify for Pampered Chef’s DOUBLE the fundraiser amount!

Cherry & Olive Pitter in action!

IT'S BACK & I couldn't be me more excited! Over the years, I've had many different salad spinners from many different companies - both DS & retail stores.. But the one from Pampered Chef was my favorite; which is why I was so sad when the handle on mine broke shortly after we discontinued it a few years ago!🥹
With all the concern right now over the quality of lettuce, this is perfect timing. Do you trust a package of lettuce that states "prewashed"? I sure don't; which is why I wash it in vinegar first and then put it in a salad spinner!
This salad spinner cleans and dries lettuce, herbs, berries, and fruit in seconds, helping salads stay crisp, dressings cling better, and produce stay fresh. No more soggy greens, mushy berries, or piles of paper towels—just fresh, delicious results with a quick spin.
NOW, this is just a teaser because the new & improved Salad & Berry Spinner isn't available JUST YET! BUT, it will be this Saturday. August 1st!
I'm compiling a list of all who want one and will contact you Saturday to get yours ordered! Who wants one?

It's a twist on Taco Tuesday - steak tostadas!
I sliced top sirloin into strips and grilled them in our Signature Grill Pan. Toppings were whatever each person wanted. I had shredded cheese, sour cream, and shredded lettuce
What toppings do you prefer?
