We got our first Cayuga egg this morning!!

Since school has been out I really havent had a chance to collect eggs because the kids are quick to join me in the morning and beat me to it during the day. I went out this morning to water my plants and tend to the birds, I walked into the duck/geese enclosure to refill the pool and saw this beauty. I look up at the sky and laughed. God knew how disappointed I would have been if I wasnt the one to find their first egg. This makes me so excited!!

My buttery cinnamon sugar sourdough loaf. It smells like a bakery. Letting it cool and then slicing it up for breakfast.
