I honestly don't see the point in not selling bucklings out of first fresheners , especially for the (vast number of) breeders who don't do milk testing. I can understand maybe not paying a FORTUNE for a buckling out of a doe with no milk testing but paying a very reasonable price for a buckling out of an FF , who's udder you've seen photos of a couple/few months post kidding and especially one who's breeder can attest to the FF having a certain amount of milk with or without there being official data (yet) seems fine to me. And if either or both grandam has official recorded milk testing that's very good all the more so

I'm buying yet another Hantop portable milking machine since I don't dare spend $1000 or so getting the one I ultimately want.

This time I'm NOT going to take either tube off of the bucket (which I do only to untangle tubes) since with my most recent machine it was working (for two or three milking) until I had removed that a couple/few times. It's theoretically removable since Hantop even sends, or use to send a replacement tube but it obviously destroys the suction. I tried to use it again yesterday because the tube *seemed* so tight on there ...but it still had inadequate suction to get any milk out of an udder

THIS TIME I WAS ABLE TO BY AN EXTENDED WARRANTY FROM ASSURION (third party) FOR THREE YEARS, so if this one doesn't work right or ceases to work right I'll be able to get a replacement or my money back

Do you want an affordable herd sire buckling who's got great milk production behind him, who's dam has a very impressive (FF) udder and who's grand parents on both sides have impressive show wins and /or LAS - Look no further ! I have two, twin, polled, blue-eyed brothers, both very similar in appearance the lighter of the two chocolate buckskins pictured here who are very much in need of good homes.

I'm also a no kill & cruelty free breeder. The young bucks are now reduced to find them homes at only $400 per buckling (I had 10 kids so far this ear and 8 were bucks, all still alive and very well and now all mostly weaned and eating grain and hay)

My whole (small) herd is CA, CL and Johnes tested negative within the last six months as well as the previous year.

Lots more info is in the pinned post on my page with more photos of the kids and also lots of their parents and grand parents (the pinned post with the photo of the shaven black buck, their sire, in the OP )

Feel free to share this (like if you live in another part of the country and likely aren't competing with me to sell inexpensive kids) & I'll do the same for you.

*WHERE IS THE FUND FOR HELP FOR THE NON-WEALTHY IN THIER FIRST YEAR TO THREE YEARS WHO WANT TO SHOW THEIR GOATS AND BE ABLE TO AFFORD OVERHEAD *

AND AN EFFING MILK MACHINE... LIKE THE 90 PERCENT OF YOU WHO *ARE* RELATIVELY WEALTHY ? , SOME OF YOU WHO HOARD YOUR SUPPORT IN OTHER WAYS AS WELL. (Don't follow anyone but big name breeders & or the already successful (who by default have to have MONEY even if they've bought one or more expensive goats from you)

I HAD TO GO FOR A DAY AND 1/2 WITHOUT FOOD DUE TO MY CAR NOT WORKING & NOT ONE PERSON TO DRIVE A MILE TO GET ME FOOD AND MEANWHILE MY DOE'S SHOW UDDER IS GOING TO HELL because a I was too weak and in too much pain to care for or milk my goats. I just realized my expensive doe is not hand -milkable and I cannot afford a $1000 plus milk machine right now....

I just purchased a goat for a war refugee friend in Syria yesterday , in spite of being financially up Sh*t's Creek, so he and his daughter can have milk to drink and possibly a way to make a tiny bit of money

I was up 24 hours because of this and in HORRIFIC pain while leading in goats in the pourirg rain then had to sleep 11 hours , then have my PAIN meds kick in before I could go out and try to milk a doe I thought I'd show this year for the first time at age two WHO APPARENTLY CAN;TY BE MILKED BY HAND AND I HAVE NO WORKING MILK MACHINE
"Money doesn't create happiness" for people WHO DON'T HAVE FARM ANIMALS , DAIRY ANIMALS OR SHOW ANIMALS (the only way you can MAKE money back- ie "proving:" your goats so you can SELL their kids ,at even the tiniest profit, or at all
DO SOMETHING TO MAKE THIS OTHER THAN A WEALTHY PEOPLE'S HOBBY!!!

Anyone have a good, working used milk machine (not a portable) they'd like to part with at a good discount from original cost?
I am having financial challenges until I sell a property in another state and have a doe who can't be milked by hand & who's buck kids are too old to be with her (her nipples/udder just don't express easily at all) and *her show udder is in serious danger of being ruined if it' not already*
I bought her having never kidded at almost 2 years and if i don't show her this September idk if she'll be able to be shown next year . AND I have too many does in milk to milk be hand period.
Please PM me

Cocoa's FF udder at 7 weeks , 11 hour fill. She's going to have her dam's incredible medial /already has a decent one ,her rear udder attachment is WIDE for a first freshener and her udder is capacious .

It's not super high but her dam's isn't either and she won her class (in milk) at the AGS National and made the Grand Champion line up and also won the AGS National daughter half of the dam and daughter class (in milk)

This is me , photo taken about two years ago (sometime I'll get someone to take a photo or 2 of me with one or some of my goats).

I don't usually look like this. I had just had my hair done in this photo. My hair is actually always in a braid because my hair is thick and frizzy (especially in this humid climate) and I have no time to keep it flat ironed since I got GOATS ! Plus I'm working at least 2/3 of my awake time and it makes me HOT, so it's always in a braid behind my ears
