We saw a video for “Poor Man’s Brisket” (video credit to Married to BBQ) where they used a Chuck Roast and smoked it like a brisket! We decided to try it and to our surprise it tastes almost identical to brisket. So for those who haven’t tried hanger steak...you really need to! These were from a previous slaughter...so we decided to give them a try! Hanger steak is known as the butcher’s cut because often the butcher would keep it for himself! It is super tender and flavorful! It almost hurt to put it in burritos but we already had the stuff out! Chipotle has nothing on White Oak Wagyu!
