Everyone is safe at J and A Stables. We had a very scary night with substantial winds and I’m sure the horses were scared too. it’s finally a category 1 and rains should be minimal today.

Part time weekend help. Must have experience working with horses. Work includes bringing in/taking out daily twice feeding and cleaning stalls. Must be able to work mornings and afternoons from Friday-Sunday. Work days may vary. References required.

We lost a very special horse today. Smoke was such a loving guy I’m really going to miss him and his kisses. My heart goes out to Catherine Stanton during this difficult time. RIP my sweet boy.

Toby and I have been having US time especially after my long work days. We’ve been practicing walking next to me even without a lead rope. He’s such a sweet and loveable little guy.. Looking forward to our next steps to train him.

BTW. He’s getting a bath tomorrow.
