Somebody asked if we could make our alcohol ice cream faster.

Sure we could. We could also make it worse — those two usually come together.

Our Alcohol ice cream takes its time on purpose: ripe fruits like peaches and raspberries, real whiskey, moonshine and rum... a slow finish you'll actually remember.

Happy Fourth of July, y'all.

Today's a good day to slow down and count the good things — a country worth celebrating, a community worth being part of, and a little extra time with the people who make the long weekends feel long in all the right ways.

From our family to yours: thank you. For the visits, the orders you've memorized, the kids with ice cream on their chins, and for letting a little Kentucky creamery be part of your celebrations. We don't take a bit of it for granted.

However you're spending your 4th... backyard, lake, porch, or parade — we hope it's full of the people you love and the small joys that stick.
