I got these two multi-level quail hutches for free (super exiting!) and I know I need to fix them up. Pictured is the nicer of the two, the other is packed with p**p still and has more broken wire.

What would you do to fix it up? I'm thinking of ripping off the chicken wire to replace it with hardwire cloth. I figured it was an egg roll out style? So is that gap going to be only ok with coturnix, probably not button? I'll need to find some thin trays to use, I've found some before but haven't gotten any yet. Any other ideas?

I forgot to mention my Siamese Satin had her first litter! Fingers 🤞 she does a good job with them. I have 1 more doe with a nice nest that hasn't had babies yet but everyone else has beautiful litters.

Three litters so far today! Out of 7 due, one had babies a day early, none on the due date, and so far 3 today (day 32) ...

Three litters so far today! Out of 7 due, one had babies a day early, none on the due date, and so far 3 today (day 32) with 2 more nesting and one I don't think took... again. :(
