Oh hey, sorry we've been MIA on FB. Harvest is bonkers, and we've been posting often on our Instagram feed () so find us there! Meanwhile, here's a nice pickup from a Sunset article on us in the SF Chronicle. Come and visit us sometime! Our tasting room is open Saturdays 12 to 6 p.m.

Wine has never really fallen out of favor, craft beer has boomed in recent decades, and now craft cider is on the rise again as U.S. imbibers rediscover the founding fathers' drink of choice.

It’s SONOMA COUNTY CIDER WEEK! This Saturday, August 11th from 5-9 PM. Come meet, chat, and sip with the CIDER MAKERS of Tilted Shed as they pour their bottlings, all made right here in Sonoma County from 100% Sonoma County–grown apples. Sonoma County Cider Week started off with a bang over the weekend, and this week's festivities are going to be awesome as well! Our grand finale will be this weekend's Gravenstein Apple Fair organized by Sonoma County Farm Trails. It'll be a cider lover's paradise, as the expanded Cider Tent will feature 17(!) locally made ciders. At the Artisan Tasting Lounge, enjoy pours of our very limited Tilted Plow collaboration cider, which we made with Horse & Plow Winery to commemorate this year's fair. There will also be other special ciders, cocktails, delicious small bites, and lots more! The Fair is so much fun for the entire family, and in fact, it was the first thing we did as a family when we moved to Sebastopol 8 years ago. Hope to see you there! I'll be the crazy apple lady with the apple crown!

The tasting room will be closed today for a private event (our sold-out txotx!). Sorry for the inconvenience. Catch us at tomorrow's pig roast cider dinner at Backyard in Forestville, and then at the Gravenstein Apple Fair next weekend!

By my latest tally, we have 133 different apple and pear varieties on our farm, plus almost 200 of my seedling trees. I try to keep good records of bloom and harvest data. Transcendent crab, seen here, is always the first to ripen. Last year we picked on July 21! Hopefully it won’t be that early this year. Let’s wait till August, please.
