This beautiful rainbow dozen is ready to pick up today for $5!
Our employ of the month is Buddy. He just turned 5! That’s pretty old for a chicken. They can live to be 10 but it’s tough to keep a chicken safe & alive for that long. Ours do free range, and we know the risks with that, but it makes for such happy chickens. He watches his girls, has taught George to be a gentleman, and is keeping Chaos in line. Not only that, but he’s not aggressive to people. We love Little Buddy!
So far, summer vacation is off to a bang! Both dogs have been brushed, the chicks have gone to a small enclosure next to the coop outside, the goats have been moved down to the shady pin & Doolittle has taken himself for 3 dips in the creek. He runs away much less at almost 5 than he did as pup, but man, he will head straight for the creek in the summer if he feels like he needs to cool off and is off leash or out of the fence. I cannot believe my puppies will be 5.
Fun fact: Doo & Loretta are the only puppies I’ve ever had in my adult life. All my other dogs were around 2 when they came into my life & they have all been rescues.
