Do you have a company that hires or trains new high school graduates for the workforce? Then we're looking for you!

What's Next? Life After High School is a workforce development/career showcase being presented to the junior class at Ocoee High School on 9/14 from 8:00-11AM on campus. In our work we have identified that many young people are lacking direction and hope for the future. Social media and many other sources are telling them they can't find good jobs and will never be able to afford a good life. The actual evidence shows that there is hope if students know where to look. This event will feature employers, apprenticeship and educational institutions showing students the many possible careers that are available to them, many without a 4 year degree.

Bring your company out to Ocoee High School in September and help us restore hope and belief in the future to our teens!

States are waking up. Right now, 329 bills are moving through 39 state legislatures to get high school students into real work experiences before they graduate — apprenticeships, internships, career pathways in trades, tech, healthcare, and more.

Why does it matter? Because 80% of hiring managers say today's high school grads aren't workforce-ready. And because research shows teens who work during high school earn 5–10% more as adults — a benefit that lasts for decades.
