Sweet baby goats at Tubbs Farm !!! We have met wonderful people this past week that came to bottle feed these cuties !!!

One of the sweetest parts of our little farm is watching the animals learn they are safe and loved. 🐷🤍 Farm visits are such a special way for kids and families to slow down, connect, and make a memory.

It is starting to rain, and I don’t want to bottle feed my baby goats in the rain, so I brought them inside to feed them in here.

They are so sweet. I just love them.

I never realized how much peace I would find in the quiet moments on our little farm. 🤍

Watching the piggies learn to trust us, hearing their little happy noises when it’s feeding time, and seeing the joy on kids’ faces when they get to meet them… it truly heals something in me.

So, we are opening a few private Mini Piggy Meet & Greet
appointments this week! Come spend a little time with our sweet mini piggies, feed them, pet them, take photos, and make a memory your family will love.

🌿 30-minute private experience
🐷 $40 for up to 4 guests
➕ $10 per additional guest
📍 By appointment only
☀️ Morning and limited-time openings available this week

This little farm is something we are building with love, one animal and one family at a time. Supporting our small family business truly means more than you know.

Message us to reserve your piggy time! 🐽💕

I thought it was just a leaf inside the little cup but it was really a baby frog. It was so cute!!!
Hi froggy!!

I used to be scared of frogs and snakes . Not anymore . Living here always gives you a surprise lol

Our little rambunctious 4-year old slowed down for a moment to help water our succulents!

Taking care of plants can be so therapeutic and rewarding. At first I felt lazy and unmotivated to fix them as some toppled over (dogs laid on them)

But then my husband started to fix them and it motivated me to start replacing soil and planting the broken leaves..

That then also motivated our youngest son to run over from the playground to slow it down and water them too…

It’s amazing how one action can cause a snowball effect.

Everyday teaches a lesson and there are always positive moments in our lives.

I try to focus on the positive on a daily basis. Sometimes I complain of the negative but when I go through my day I observe and acknowledge the positive moments and that always keeps me going .

The pigs escaped their little enclosure. But they are so polite and came back when called ! The piggies are so smart and sweet.

We love our animals!

Everything is still such a long work in progress…

For now , if anyone would like to come visit and feed them some veggie scraps please message me or comment.

They love visitors ! And we love connecting with our community .

Day 4 of my sourdough starter journey! 🍞🌾

I realized I did Day 3 a little backwards. I removed 50g of starter when I was actually supposed to discard enough to leave 50g in the jar. Learning as I go!

Today, I kept 50g of starter, then added 50g whole-wheat flour and 50g warm well water, measured on my kitchen scale.

Our well water has been tested and approved by the county as safe drinking water, and it has natural minerals in it. I know many bakers recommend avoiding city tap water if it contains chlorine or other chemicals that can affect a starter, but our well water is what we use and trust here at home.

Now we wait for more bubbles and growth! Follow along as I learn sourdough from scratch. 💛

Sourdough starter, Day 3! 🌾

On Day 1, I started with 50g whole-wheat flour and 50g warm filtered water, measured on my kitchen scale.

Today, I discarded 50g of starter, then fed it with another 50g whole-wheat flour and 50g warm filtered water. I marked the level with an Expo marker, labeled the mason jar with the date and “Day 3,” and placed the lid on loosely—not screwed closed.

Now it sits in a quiet corner of my counter while we wait for those bubbles and growth! Follow along as I learn sourdough from scratch. 🍞

I am on a beginner journey of home made sourdough starter to start making sour dough bread for my future farm stand !!
