If you know Chef Alex and I, then you know we have solved much harder problems than this in our 8 years together. Side hustles are supposed to be fun! And we’ve been having so much fun bringing his food to you and seeing your reactions to it. We never want to disappoint our customers, and we feel like low quality food, erasing half of our menu, or tripling our prices is far worse than simply hitting pause for a moment so we can regroup. This way, we can spend our time problem solving rather than driving around 4+ hours searching for the supplies we need. We aren’t going anywhere, and our plans to open Pacific Fusion in Winters have not changed! We WILL be bringing you sushi again, we just have to work out a couple of kinks. We are also hunting for a larger kitchen space to do food prep in while we wait for our permanent spot so we can accommodate larger cases of ingredients and hire more kitchen staff. If anybody hears of a potential ghost kitchen we could rent on the weekends please let us know!
